Tim Belsan (Weigand Scholar 07, 08, 09 – Washburn) was awarded the Attorney General’s Award for Distinguished Service, the Justice Department’s second-highest award for employee performance.
This was Tim’s second such award. This 2019 recognition was based on his prosecution of a war criminal (press release on the case here). He was also selected for a Special Commendation Award from the Department’s Civil Division based on work to prosecute and remove a terrorist (news story on the case here).
